Weapon Sweep

At 1223hrs today, NPT officers carried out a weapons sweep at Down Lane Recreation Ground. A comprehensive search of the area was conducted with negative results, with no weapons recovered. The location was targeted due to its proximity to Harris Academy Secondary School and forms part of ongoing preventative patrols and crime reduction activities within the ward.
